Stan Hywet Stitchery Showcase will be May 17th and 18th. The workshop will be on the 16th and 17th. The project will be a Tudor Rose.
The Medina Guild will be having a Mini-Mentoring Day this Tuesday. Many techniques will be shared. Their Dye Day is coming up, date TBA.
Cuyahoga Weaver's Guild has an exhibit in Cleveland until April 27th. A
guild field trip is planned for Saturday, the 29th. Details to be arranged by
e-mail.
Ceinwyn suggested that some day the guild have a fashion show with
apparel we have woven ourselves. Belts, pouches, etc. would count as apparel. We decided to allow a couple of years before we worry too much about this.
Ellencwen reports that the Ohio Valley Carding mill is now very prompt. Her last box came home in less than a month. She was very disappointed, as she was counting on at least 6 months worth of fiber storage there!
Emma will be teaching beginning bobbin lace at the Arts and Sciences event next weekend.
February meeting Everybody had a good time at Agatha's Day.  Keep working on the Tunis fleeces for the guild project.
