The "Mid-Ohio Fiber Gathering" in De Graf is coming up.
The weekly meetings of the Marche of Gwyntarian have moved from Akron to Trinity Lutheran Church in Kent.
What programs is the guild interested in? Give it some thought.
The guild charter needs some major revisions, so the guild should start discussing these issues in June, July, and August (the charter is updated in September).
Ellencwen is hosting a spin-in at her house in Clinton on March 27th.
Diachbha is delaying the submission of her master work until next month. (She is presenting pieces to the guild in fulfillment of the guild's requirements for master status.)
Blossom weaving classes will be held the second week of June. Topics include damask, brocade, and other supplemental weft weaves; using computerized looms; fulling; and creating texture through the use of different fibers. Preregistration is required. Check the Kent State website under "Blossom." (Note from webmistress--could find no reference to this online.)
Diachbha suggested a trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art to view their lace collection.
Guild meeting dates will be announced at Gwyntarian meetings; Emma will inform Gunther.
