Emma Knitted up a storm (that's an exact quote). Made bobbin lace and needle lace.
Demelza Netted. Made an afghan.
Ceinwyn Made felt. Made a little purple murex to put in her murex shell. Spun up a silk cap (a "cap" is a hunk of unspun silk). Tried spinning cotton. Also knitted up a storm, making little neck scarves and a hat. Did cross-stitch embroidery.
Ellencwen More meteorological disturbances from knitting. Knitted four bears and sweaters to go with them. Finished knitting the grey scarf. Spun some of the bamboo fiber.
Miscellania

Just a reminder that February's meeting is the St. Agatha's Day dessert revel. Food representing Agatha's saintly emblems is traditional; let your imaginations run wild.
At the January guild meeting, Diachbha will teach a workshop on netting.
Emma got a phone call from a woman who found our website and had questions about natural dyes.
November meeting No minutes taken at last meeting (St. Catherine's Day dessert revel). The guild went on a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art to view the ecclesiastical textile exhibit. The guild had a good turnout, with Jendriska, Kore, Ceinwyn, Branwyn, Emma, Demelza, Ellencwen, Diachbha, Hathewisse, and several children of members attending. Diachbha kindly drove everyone in the huge van. Afterwards, the group returned to Kent for a dessert revel at Diachbha's house. Hathewisse showed the beautiful scarves which she is weaving for sale.
